FMB, the premier community bank in the North Florida/South Georgia region, has announced its prestigious Employee Excellence Awards for 2017. During the company’s Annual Awards, three employees were recognized for their dedication and contributions. The Bank awarded the F. Wilson Carraway, Sr. Award for Excellence & Community Service to Vice President Commercial Lender, Renee McNeill. In addition, Loan Assistant, Susan Clifford, was presented the Horizon Award and Deposit Platform Operations Manager, Christi Stephenson, was awarded the Employee of the Year Award.
FMB’s most prestigious award, The Carraway Award, was established in memory of F. Wilson Carraway, Sr. In 1966 as Florida’s Senate President and owner of the local Coca-Cola bottling company, Carraway, Sr. purchased the bank and began FMB’s modern era of banking. The award honors an employee’s commitment to FMB, its customers and community; religious and value-building activities; and continuing education.
The 2017 Carraway Award recipient, Renee McNeill, joined the FMB family in 2011 as Assistant Vice President and Commercial Lender and was promoted to Vice President in 2014. She is very active in the Tallahassee community and serves as a board member for Tree House and the City of Tallahassee Ethics Board. McNeill also volunteers her time to the Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce, Youth Leadership Tallahassee and the Community Human Services Partnership with the United Way.
The Horizon Award was presented to Susan Clifford. This award is presented to an employee who goes “Above and Beyond.” Throughout her more than 30-year banking career, Clifford has processed commercial and consumer loans from application to closing. Since she began working at FMB in 2014, Clifford’s efficiency and productivity combined with her professionalism and positive approach have made her a strong asset to both customers and the lending team.
Christi Stephenson was selected by her FMB colleagues as the Employee of the Year. She has held various positions throughout her 20 years in banking. In her short ten months at FMB, Stephenson’s strong management skills have proven beneficial while working with her colleagues as well as the many projects she has brought to completion. Her role as liaison has instantly made her an integral part of the FMB team.
FMB is honored to present these prestigious awards to three very deserving individuals. They are true representatives of FMB and major contributors in the Bank’s continued success.
